Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo — A week after they were forcibly taken from a home, Carlos Audomaro Solís Castro and Jesús Alexander Zamora Solís remain missing, leaving their families in anguish with no word on their whereabouts.
According to authorities, the two men were allegedly abducted on June 3, 2026, by a group of armed, hooded individuals wearing tactical gear. The victims were socializing at a home in an irregular settlement in Felipe Carrillo Puerto when the attack occurred.
The incident took place in the afternoon on a property on Calle 81 between Calles 28 and 30, in the invasion zone known as Los Planes. Three men were drinking alcohol when several gunmen armed with rifles burst in. The assailants subdued two of the men and forced them into an unidentified vehicle, fleeing in an unknown direction. The third man managed to escape and called 911 for help.
After receiving the report, the State Prosecutor’s Office (FGE) activated search alerts and launched an investigation. The following day, FGE agents, along with Felipe Carrillo Puerto municipal police and the Mexican Navy, conducted a search operation across the city and nearby communities.
As of Thursday, authorities have not located Solís Castro or Zamora Solís, and their families remain deeply worried without any information about their fate.
