Cozumel, Quintana Roo — A restaurant owner died early Monday morning after a serious motorcycle accident on Cozumel island.
Preliminary reports indicate the man was riding on one of the island’s roads when he lost control of the motorcycle for reasons still under investigation. The crash caused severe injuries.
Witnesses in the area alerted emergency services, and paramedics responded quickly to provide assistance. Upon examination, they confirmed the victim showed no vital signs due to the severity of his injuries.
Police officers and traffic authorities cordoned off the area while personnel from the State Prosecutor’s Office conducted their investigation. The body was later transported to the Forensic Medical Service for legal procedures as authorities continue investigating how the accident occurred.
