Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo tax collection agency, known as SATQ, will join Mexico’s Buen Fin 2026 shopping event with a package of tax benefits aimed at state taxpayers, officials announced.
The national discount campaign runs from November 13 to 17 this year. SATQ said the discount percentages and the types of payments that will qualify for subsidies have not yet been settled and will be released in the coming days.
Length of the benefit period still under review
The agency has also not locked in how long its benefits will last. It is considering a window of four to five days, or possibly a full week, with the final calendar still under review.
Marcela Ramos Islas, who heads SATQ, said taxpayers who meet their obligations during the period can expect “attractive promotions.”
SATQ said it will publish all the details — discount rates, which procedures are included and the exact dates — on its official social media accounts as they are finalized.
Buen Fin is an annual discount event held across Mexico. In past editions, state tax authorities have joined with similar incentives designed to encourage residents to pay off local debts and taxes.
