Taco-N Festival 2025: LGBTQ+ Tacos & High Heel Race

PUERTO MORELOS, Quintana Roo — The municipal government of Puerto Morelos has announced the Taco-N Festival 2025, an event with the stated objective of finding the taco that best represents the LGBTQ+ community. The festival will feature a culinary competition to discover the most delicious and best-presented taco.

The event is scheduled to take place on September 20 at 4:00 p.m. in the town's Parque Fundadores, located at Javier Rojo Gómez 108, 77580 Puerto Morelos. The local government is inviting the public to join the event and will award a prize to the creator of the best taco.

Festival Activities and Participation

The Taco-N Festival will consist of three main activities, all of which will be free to the public. The scheduled events are a cultural exposition, a high heel race, and the awards ceremony for the representative LGBTQ+ community taco.

For those wishing to participate as either an exhibitor or a contestant, registration and requests for information must be submitted via the WhatsApp number 998 316 99 37. Prospective participants are advised that registration will close in a few days and that they should apply as soon as possible to secure a spot. The phone number provided will supply information on whether any documents are required for participation, as well as the official contest rules and guidelines.
