Tivoli Mérida Residences: Luxury Debut in Mexico’s White City

Mérida, Yucatán — Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, a global owner, operator, and investor with a portfolio of 560 hotels and resorts across 57 countries, has announced the launch of its first Tivoli Hotels & Resorts property in Mexico. The luxury brand, celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, will debut in Mérida, marking a strategic expansion into the Americas.

Founded in Lisbon in 1933, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has grown into an iconic hospitality brand known for delivering authentic, destination-driven experiences paired with innovative, customer-centric service. Currently, the brand operates 17 properties in Portugal, Brazil, Qatar, China, the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.

The new Tivoli Mérida Residences will be situated in the heart of Mérida, often referred to as the “White City” for its colonial architecture and rich cultural heritage. The property aims to blend the elegance of the golden age of travel with modern luxury, offering guests a retreat where they can unwind from the pace of everyday life.

A Prime Location with Historical Charm

The hotel will occupy a meticulously restored 1903 residence, designated as a historical monument, within the Casona 333 complex. Located on Paseo Montejo, Mérida’s main boulevard, the property will be surrounded by restaurants, shops, museums, and nightlife, just 20 minutes from Mérida International Airport.

The restored mansion will house the main reception, a restaurant, boulangerie, bar, piano lounge, and shared amenities, including a lush garden and an intimate courtyard for private events.
