Cherry Hill, New Jersey — The Mexican under-8 baseball team secured the World Series Cal Ripken Babe Ruth U-8 championship with a decisive 10-2 victory over the United States. The Mexican squad demonstrated its superiority in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, after navigating a demanding competition system that required prior eliminations, qualifying games, and direct rounds.

Key Players and Team Composition

Milan “Buffalo” Zazueta emerged as one of the team's standout figures, recording 10 strikeouts over four innings. Carlos López also delivered a notable performance, completing the game with two perfect innings in relief.

The championship team was composed of seven children from Culiacán, one from Mazatlán, two from Tijuana, and two more from Ensenada.
