Cancun, Quintana Roo — A man was found dead and decapitated inside a home in Cancun, triggering a major response from security forces and the State Prosecutor’s Office.
According to initial reports, a relative discovered the victim’s body when they visited the residence and immediately called emergency services.
Police officers arrived at the scene, confirmed the incident, and cordoned off the area. Investigators and forensic experts then began collecting evidence to determine how the crime occurred.
The body was taken to the Forensic Medical Service for examination, while the Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation to identify those responsible.
No arrests have been reported in connection with the case. Authorities continue to investigate the motive behind the violent death.
