Cancún, Quintana Roo — Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa and Benito Juárez Mayor Ana Paty Peralta are inviting Cancún residents to the second edition of Expo Turismo Health & Wellness Cancún 2026, scheduled for December 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Live Aqua Cancún hotel.

The event aims to bring health and wellness services, specialists and new care alternatives directly to the local population.

Lezama said the expo has grown on the strength of local and national companies that are driving medical tourism, a segment that has gained importance in Quintana Roo, particularly in Cancún. Organizers now want to extend those benefits to Cancún families by giving them access to information and options for looking after their health.

Peralta said attendees will be able to meet specialists, clinics and companies from the sector, take part in panels with experts and access benefits aimed at families.

Tourism diversification push

Benito Juárez Tourism Director Juan Pablo de Zulueta is also involved in the effort, which officials described as part of municipal actions to diversify the resort city’s tourism offering.

Both officials repeated their invitation to the second edition, which will gather health and wellness options in a single venue.
