“45th Annual Kantunilkín Fair in Quintana Roo: Attractions, Exhibitions, and Festivities!”

The 45th annual Kantunilkín Fair has officially begun in Quintana Roo, marked by the presence of numerous government officials and dozens of attendees.

This year's fair features a variety of attractions, including mechanical games, craft exhibitions, livestock, agricultural displays, and cultural activities. The fair was officially opened by municipal and state authorities, along with the fair's ambassador, Deysi Yanet Náhuatl Hay, who performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the entrance of the fairgrounds.

The opening ceremony took place just before 8:00 P.M., with residents beginning to arrive at the fairgrounds, located in the Expo neighborhood, adjacent to the road leading to the town of Quintana. The attendees were eager to partake in the activities planned for the third day of the fair.

Even before the official opening, residents were already exploring the various stands where local artisans displayed their works, including woodcrafts and tablecloths. These unique crafts were available for purchase, allowing visitors to take home a beautiful memento of their visit.

The fair showcases a variety of local products and traditions. Visitors can find traditional clothing such as ternos, crafts made from rattan, products from local farmers, ornamental plants and grafts, and bovine specimens.

Schools and institutions began their exhibitions at 5:00 PM, adding to the bustling atmosphere at the fairgrounds. The official opening ceremony took place at 8:00 PM, marking the start of a fun-filled evening for both children and adults. The fair, considered one of the best in the area, features a variety of mechanical games that have proven popular with residents.

The cultural night kicked off with a performance by the State Public Security Orchestra. The evening's entertainment also includes a performance by impersonator Pierre David, and will conclude with a dance party featuring the group Los Méndez.

The 45th Kantunilkín Fair, which includes agricultural, craft, cultural, touristic, and fishing exhibitions, began on May 1st and will run until May 11th.
