1.- All-Inclusive Resorts: These resorts are becoming increasingly popular with Generation Z, who appreciate the balance of quality and price, as well as the luxury experience. 41% of this demographic seek to reduce stress, while 42% prefer this type of accommodation.
2.- Culinary Experiences: Nowadays, travelers are not only seeking accommodation but also exceptional dining experiences at hotels. Mentions of restaurants and chefs have risen by 40% in the past year. Almost a third of travelers say that room service from a renowned restaurant would influence their booking decision.
3.- Emerging Destinations: The report reveals that 63% of consumers are keen on visiting less popular destinations. The top ten emerging destinations for 2025 include:
- Reims, France (alternative to Paris)
- Brescia, Italy (alternative to Milan)
- Cozumel, Mexico (alternative to Cancun)
4.- Set-Jetting: Two-thirds of travelers say that film and television shows influence their travel decisions, a 16% increase from the previous year.
5.- Social Media Influenced Travel: Half of consumers are interested in booking trips they've seen on social media, although the complexity of doing so is often a deterrent.
