Water Rally 2024 in Cancun A Great Success

The sixteenth edition of the Water Rally took place in Cancun, uniting 20 teams in a series of challenges designed to promote environmental and water conservation.

The Water Rally 2024 was held at Aventura Park, located in the third stage of the Hotel Zone in Cancun. The event was both a family outing and a competition, with around 20 teams participating. Each team consisted of six members who took part in various tests of skill, agility, and knowledge. These challenges were spread across different stations within the park, each one aimed at fostering an understanding of water conservation and environmental protection.

Alejandra Mayorga, the Social Responsibility Coordinator of Aguakan, the event's organizer, stated that the participants thoroughly enjoyed the activities. The teams faced challenges on land and in water, while their families cheered them on throughout the competition.

In addition to the rally, participants visited the "Don Pascual" grandparents' house. Here, Aguakan provided groceries and organized a social gathering. During this visit, competitors were given "Aquapesos", a form of currency that they could exchange for items. These items would then be converted into additional groceries to support the elderly residents.

The event attracted approximately 260 attendees, including several families who benefited from half-priced admission to the park. Aguakan encourages everyone to follow their social media channels for information on their future events, which are free of charge.
