José María Morelos. Residents of the municipality reported this Saturday the presence of an unusual string of lights moving slowly in the sky, a phenomenon that immediately sparked curiosity and uncertainty among those who managed to observe it.
The disseminated images show a series of luminous points aligned diagonally in the night sky, standing out clearly against the dark silhouette of the trees.
The uniform brightness and perfectly linear arrangement of the lights generated various speculations on social media, ranging from theories about unidentified flying objects to the possibility that they were artificial satellites.
According to specialists, this type of sighting often coincides with the passage of communication satellite trains, which reflect sunlight while moving in low orbit, creating a visual effect that can be surprising for observers on the ground.
In a recent post, an astronomy enthusiast shared a clip of the Starlink satellite train, noting that the observed lights correspond to these devices as they advance until entering the Earth’s shadow, confirming that the phenomenon captured in José María Morelos coincides with the passage of this satellite constellation.
