Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The government of Municipal President Estefanía Mercado announced specialized classes in music, dance, plastic arts, visual arts, and plastic arts at the Cultural Center, the School of Artistic Initiation associated with the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (in Bellavista), the House of Music located in the Puerto Aventuras borough, and for participation in the Playa del Carmen Children’s and Youth Symphony Orchestra.
In this regard, the Municipal Institute of Culture and Arts of Playa del Carmen invited interested individuals to the registration period at these training centers. “The teachers have the commitment to disseminate their knowledge so that our city continues to be the Cultural Capital of Quintana Roo,” said Ernesto Santiago Martínez Cuéllar, general director of the Institute.
School of Artistic Initiation
At the School of Artistic Initiation, registration for theater, visual arts, and music classes will be open from February 3 to 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is for children aged 8 to 12 in the afternoon session. Cultural Center
Regarding the Cultural Center, located on CTM Avenue a few steps from the new Municipal Palace, the registration period for the 48 available workshops is from February 3 to 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Among the disciplines are indigenous cultures, dance (including flamenco), plastic arts, painting, and engraving. House of Music
The House of Music in the Puerto Aventuras borough offers workshops in singing with guitar, piano, drums, and guitar. Symphony Orchestra
From February 3 to 13, girls, boys, and young people aged 8 to 25 can participate in nine instruments of the Playa del Carmen Children’s and Youth Symphony Orchestra: violin, viola, flute, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, double bass, cello, and clarinet.
