The company aims to increase this number to 1.2 million passengers by the end of the current year. There has been a notable 22 percent increase in transport occupancy, with a significant surge in passenger numbers in the first quarter of 2025.
The Mayan Train has received an overwhelmingly positive response from its users, boasting a 97 percent satisfaction rate. The company also offers a variety of tourism packages. These include city tours, visits to archaeological sites, flights operated by Mexicana de Aviación, and accommodation and meal services. These packages are designed to boost tourism in Southeast Mexico and enhance connectivity among the region's communities.
The Mayan Train continues to establish itself as a crucial regional transport system, connecting communities throughout the Mayan world in Southeast Mexico. This success is attributed to the trust of its users and the achievement of its passenger transportation targets since its launch.
