Mexico City — The cast of the beloved sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle” is set to bring a wave of nostalgia to Mexican television with a visit to promote their new Disney+ miniseries. Frankie Muniz, Justin Berfield, and Christopher Masterson, who played Malcolm, Reese, and Francis respectively, will appear on the TV Azteca morning show “Venga La Alegría” on Tuesday.
The actors will interact with the audience and discuss the revival series, “Malcolm in the Middle: Life Is Still Unfair,” which recently premiered on Disney+. The visit marks their first official on-screen reunion in nearly two decades since the original series ended in 2006.
The new miniseries consists of four episodes and revisits the Wilkerson family with fresh stories and characters, sparking both nostalgia and curiosity among fans. Original cast members Bryan Cranston as Hal and Jane Kaczmarek as Lois are also returning, alongside new additions that explore Malcolm’s adult life.
The Mexico stop is part of an international promotional tour for the project, which aims to blend humor, memories, and a new perspective on one of television’s most cherished comedies.
