Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The Magnolias choir will present a special Mother’s Day concert featuring more than 60 female voices performing hits from the 1980s and 1990s.
Under the direction of maestro Edgar González Salzman, the ensemble has established itself as one of the region’s most powerful choral groups, known for its stage presence and ability to create deep emotional connections with audiences.
The concert will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Playa del Carmen City Theater. The venue will host this musical production that combines talent, energy, and staging designed to evoke memories and emotions.
Tickets are now available through the TomeAsiento platform, allowing the public to secure their spots for what promises to be one of the most emotional events of the season.
The Magnolias performance offers a special opportunity to honor mothers, revisit songs that defined generations, and enjoy an artistic celebration of the female voice at its fullest expression.
