Puerto Aventuras, once considered the backyard of Playa del Carmen, is undergoing a transformation. Now recognized as a mayoralty office, the area is set to provide public beach access for all. This commitment is one of many made by Lili Campos, a candidate for the municipal presidency of Solidaridad, under the alliance of Fuerza y Corazón por Quintana Roo.
Campos made these promises in front of hundreds of residents during a walk. "We will work to ensure that the mayoralty of Puerto Aventuras finally has beach access, something that many residents have been unable to enjoy. We are committed to making this dream a reality," she stated.
In addition to beach access, Campos pledged to build a civic square in Puerto Aventuras, ensure 100 percent pavement on its streets, and construct three more football and basketball courts. She also promised to refurbish all parks and the municipal market.
For the rural communities in San Carlos, Campos committed to completing the construction of a road that was started during the renewal process. In the Los Sauces community, she promised the construction of a school for local children.
Campos urged residents to defend their polling stations and democracy on June 2. She said, "We must defend our polling stations because that's where the triumph of our renewal will be. Together, we will continue to renew Solidaridad."
