Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — As part of the actions carried out within the “Christmas at Your School” Program, Municipal President Atenea Gómez Ricalde continues with the delivery of toys in schools across Isla Mujeres, with the objective of sharing joy, excitement, and meaningful moments with girls and boys during this December season.
From early morning, the island mayor visited the Enriqueta Camarillo Kindergarten, the Francisco Hernández de Córdoba School, the Jean Piaget Primary School, and the Jean Piaget Preschool, where she interacted with the school community and delivered toys and sweets to the students.
Atenea Gómez highlighted that these actions are part of her administration’s commitment to work closely with the people and, especially, to attend to children, whom she recognized as the most valuable part of the municipality.
She noted that each visit to the schools allows them to bring not only a gift but also a message of affection, hope, and unity for the families of Isla Mujeres.
The Municipal President reiterated that the Christmas at Your School Program aims to ensure that no girl or boy goes without receiving a gift during these dates, while strengthening values such as coexistence, solidarity, and joy, and creating memories that will remain in the minds of the children.
Furthermore, she reported that today concluded the delivery of toys on the Island and tomorrow it will end in the Continental Zone of the municipality, thereby covering all schools included in the program, both on the Island and in Ciudad Mujeres, as it is an inclusive and close program.
With these actions, the Municipal Government of Isla Mujeres reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting programs that strengthen well-being and consolidate Isla Mujeres as a municipality where girls and boys grow up happy.
