Cancún, Quintana Roo — The colors, music and flavors of Oaxaca are set to return to Cancún with Guelaguetza 2026, a performance presented by the Xochiquetzal Folk Company that has brought the iconic celebration to local audiences since 2016.
Through dance and music, the troupe will honor the cultural diversity of Oaxaca’s many regions and the community spirit that has made the Guelaguetza one of Mexico’s most beloved traditions.
The evening will also appeal to the palate: the ticket includes a gastronomic tasting during the show, offering attendees a sensory journey through Oaxacan cuisine.
Guelaguetza Cancún 2026 takes place Saturday, Aug. 8, at 7 p.m. at the Centro Cultural Toltecayotl. General admission is a nominal fee, and tickets can be purchased through the Ticketor platform.
