Tulum, Quintana Roo — Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo is inviting residents to the city’s sixth Employment Fair, where 12 companies will offer 524 jobs across 35 different positions and trades on November 5 and 6.
Castanón said the two-day event gives local families a chance to find new work and improve their quality of life. He was joined at the announcement by Melitón González, director general of the municipal Economy Department, and Eduardo López, director of Planning and Economic Strategies.
“We invite everyone to come to the Dos Aguas dome on November 5 and 6, where companies from different sectors will be offering their vacancies,” the mayor said. “This is an opportunity we should take advantage of to create better conditions and a better quality of life in our homes.”
González said the fair is the result of ongoing coordination between the municipal government and the private sector, which are pooling their efforts to bring a range of job opportunities to residents in a single location.
What Applicants Need to Know
Job seekers should bring a resume and their CURP, Mexico’s national population registry number, to the Dos Aguas dome. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days.
