Local residents are looking forward to the opening of the new Felipe Carrillo Maya Train Station.
The station announced via their official social media channels that they will begin operations this Friday. The news was met with positive reactions from the online community who have been eagerly awaiting the launch of the Maya Train.
The Felipe Carrillo Maya Train Station is part of a project championed by Andrés Manuel López Obrador during his term. With the opening of this station, the project is now one step closer to completion.
The National Defense Secretariat team is currently putting the finishing touches on the station to ensure it is ready for operations this Friday. While the destination and schedule details for the Maya Train are yet to be confirmed, citizens are invited to come and board the train.
Artisans from the Maya area had requested a space to display their work as part of these government projects. The new station will provide them with a place to showcase and sell their creations to tourists visiting the station.
