Municipal officials delivering forage support to livestock farmers in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — In compliance with the public policy of strengthening the primary sector promoted by Municipal President Estefanía Mercado, Secretary of Economic Development and Investment Attraction Antón Bojórquez delivered 7.5 tons of forage silage and corn to 35 producers from the Local Livestock Association of Playa del Carmen.

During the delivery, in which he was accompanied by livestock leader Eusebio Miranda Sánchez and the Director of Agricultural and Fisheries Development Alejandro López, the official explained that this support aims to guarantee the continuity of livestock production, mitigate the effects of forage scarcity, and strengthen the economy of the local livestock sector.

“The delivery of food support strengthens the livestock sector of Playa del Carmen by ensuring adequate cattle nutrition, improving production conditions, and promoting animal welfare,” highlighted Bojórquez.

In turn, Alejandro López emphasized that these actions respond to the current municipal government’s vision of providing direct, timely, and effective support to the countryside.

The support was granted directly and in full to the Local Livestock Association of Playa del Carmen, as part of the Municipal Government’s commitment to promoting public policies with real impact on productive communities.

The delivery took place in the Santa Cecilia community, with the participation of municipal authorities and representatives of the livestock sector, reaffirming institutional support for rural development and the strengthening of the countryside in Playa del Carmen.
