Governor Mara Lezama and Benito Juárez's municipal president, Ana Paty Peralta, were also in attendance.

The awards bestowed upon Cancún included: Mexico's Leading Beach Destination, Mexico and Central America's Leading City Destination 2024, Mexico and Central America's Top City Tourism Office 2023, and Mexico and Central America's Leading Meetings and Conference Destination 2024.
Governor Lezama expressed her pleasure at these achievements, emphasizing the significance of this recognition for those working in the tourism industry. She congratulated the industry workers, stating, "These World Travel Awards acknowledge the exceptional work of many people who strive daily to be the best." Municipal president Ana Paty Peralta echoed these sentiments, asserting that these awards serve as motivation to continue enhancing Cancún's innovation, sustainability, and hospitality, reinforcing its status as a global tourism benchmark.
