Cancún, Quintana Roo — Investigators from the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Crimes of Child Trafficking executed a court-authorized search warrant at a home in Cancún on Saturday afternoon, as part of an investigation sparked by a citizen complaint.
The property, a single-family home in the Privadas del Sol neighborhood, is located between José López Portillo Avenue and Calle 10 Poniente in the Supermanzana 61 district. Agents entered the home after a judge approved the warrant based on evidence gathered by the prosecutor’s office.
During the operation, specialized investigators conducted a thorough search for evidence to support the case. Authorities have not yet said whether any objects, documents, or other items tied to the investigation were found.
The State Prosecutor’s Office also has not confirmed whether anyone was arrested or whether potential victims were rescued during the raid.
Federal agents provided perimeter security while the search was under way. The presence of official vehicles drew the attention of nearby residents, but no incidents were reported.
After the search, the property was secured and sealed by the prosecutor’s office, and it will remain under official control while the investigation continues.
Officials are expected to release more details in the coming hours about any seizures, arrests, or rescues tied to the case. The investigation remains confidential to avoid compromising the proceedings.
