Brazilian Film ‘O Agente Secreto’ Dominates 2026 Platino Awards

Madrid, Spain — The Brazilian film O Agente Secreto (The Secret Agent) by Kleber Mendonça Filho emerged as the biggest winner at the 2026 Platino Awards, taking home four awards including Best Ibero-American Film.

The ceremony, held in Madrid, also honored Mexican actress Paulina Gaitán and Argentine actor Guillermo Francella. Gaitán won Best Actress for her role in El Eternauta, which also dominated the television categories. Francella received the Honorary Award for his career.
