Residents of the Gonzalo Guerrero district were met with a grim scene this morning. A woman's lifeless body was discovered inside a plastic bag by garbage collection workers. The incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of 40th Avenue and 32nd Street during the workers' routine cleaning duties.
The discovery was made when a garbage bag unexpectedly tore open, revealing the victim's body. The body bore signs of violence and was covered in blood.
Upon discovery, Municipal and State Police officers were promptly dispatched to the scene. The area was quickly cordoned off and the incident was reported to the Attorney General's Office.
As of now, both the cause of death and the identity of the victim remain unknown.
