Cancún — More than 100 vessels and 40 luxury brands will be part of the fourth edition of the Boat Show Cancún, to be held from December 5 to 7 at Plaza La Isla, an event that is consolidating itself as one of the most important in the nautical sector of the Mexican Caribbean.
According to Steven Lorenzo, director of the Cancun International Boat Show & Marine Expo (CIBSME), an influx of around 10,000 national and international visitors is expected, including sailors, fishermen, divers, and enthusiasts of water sports.
The executive explained that the Boat Show has become a key platform for learning about the latest innovations in the sector, from marine technology and low-emission engines to smart batteries, advanced electronic systems, and new trends in nautical design.
"This event has become necessary to discover new brands, more sustainable technology, and vessels that reflect the evolution of the industry towards efficiency and responsible luxury," Lorenzo stated.
The event will feature free entry to the general area through registration at cibsme.com, while intermediate access passes will cost 35 dollars, with additional benefits. The VIP pass, for 55 dollars, will include access to exclusive lounges, one in the center of the event and another in the Cenacolo restaurant, within Plaza La Isla.
Furthermore, there will be fashion shows, DJ presentations, tours inside the yachts, networking spaces, and business meetings, making the Boat Show not just a commercial exhibition, but an integral experience for the whole family.
"We want the public to experience the nautical world, to get close to new technologies, and to enjoy the sea as part of our identity in Cancún," Lorenzo concluded.
