Cancún, Mexico — Armed individuals fired shots early this morning at a warehouse of the beer company Grupo Modelo on José López Portillo Avenue in this city, without causing any injuries.
According to initial reports, the subjects passed by on a motorcycle and fired their weapons three times at the facade of this building.
Workers and people near the intersection of José López Portillo and Chac Mool Avenues reported the incident, which later prompted the mobilization of police officers.
Upon arrival, the officers confirmed the attack and, after verifying there were no injuries, requested the presence of personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office.
Three bullet impacts were observed on the facade, as well as a spent shell casing inside the establishment.
Forensic experts from the State Attorney General’s Office later collected the evidence and transported it to their facilities for inclusion in the investigation file.
So far, police authorities have not reported any arrests for this armed attack.
