Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Authorities have activated an Amber Alert for a 14-year-old girl last seen in Playa del Carmen.
Emili Nahomi Maldonado Moguel was last seen on Sunday, August 2. A missing person report was filed the following day, Monday, August 3, leading the Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office to issue Amber Alert No. 83/FDC/2026.
Emili is Mexican, has brown skin and a medium build, and is approximately 1.52 meters (5 feet) tall, weighing about 56 kilograms (123 pounds). She has short, straight hair dyed blonde and black eyes. Authorities said she has no distinguishing marks.
At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a melon-colored long-sleeve shirt, black two-tone military-style pants, and beige sandals.
The prosecutor’s office said her whereabouts are unknown and that her disappearance may be linked to a crime. Investigators are asking the public to share the missing person notice and to call 984 873 0163 with any information that could help locate her.
