Motorcyclist Fatally Shot in Tulum: Latest Updates

A motorcyclist was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Tulum's La Veleta district. The attack occurred on Sunday afternoon on Coba Street, between 8th and 10th South.

Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants were in a white vehicle, similar to a taxi, and fired at least five shots at the man. Private paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after, but sadly, the motorcyclist had already passed away.

Officials from the State Attorney General's Office promptly arrived to secure the scene. They later transferred the victim's body to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).

Local police have launched an investigation into the incident. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
