In a combined operation, the General Prosecutor's Office of Quintana Roo and federal authorities successfully rescued 10 undocumented Cubans in the 26th Superblock of the Benito Juárez municipality. These individuals were reportedly being held captive and threatened by human traffickers.

The authorities were alerted to the situation through an anonymous tip. They were directed to a house on Flores Magón Street, block 24, lot 08. It was here that a criminal group was allegedly holding the foreigners, including minors, captive for exploitation purposes.

The rescued group consisted of nine men and one woman. Unfortunately, the criminals were not present during the operation. Investigations are currently ongoing to locate the perpetrators and to fully understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.
