A young man was shot in the arm at a gas station in Puerto Aventuras. Despite his injury, he managed to make his way to a local health center for immediate medical attention. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, with the 21-year-old victim later being transferred to the General Hospital of Playa del Carmen.
The shooting took place around 4:00 AM at a gas station in the Solidaridad municipality of Puerto Aventuras. Paramedics were quickly on the scene to provide emergency medical services and arrange for his transfer. The victim, identified as Eric V. P. from the state of Campeche, arrived at the General Hospital of Playa del Carmen under his own power. He had sustained a gunshot wound to his right arm and confirmed that the attack had occurred at the gas station.
An investigation into the incident has been launched, but as of yet, the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) has not released any information regarding the primary line of inquiry.
