Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — A federal judge has ordered two individuals held in pretrial detention after authorities seized drugs, a firearm, and ammunition during a court-authorized search of a home on Ruedas Medina Avenue.

The Federal Prosecutor’s Office (FGR) obtained a search warrant following an anonymous tip. During the operation, officers arrested Wili “N” and Miguel “N” and confiscated approximately 1.376 kilograms of marijuana, 9.596 grams of cocaine, 103 cartridges, four magazines, and one firearm.

Prosecutors presented evidence linking the suspects to drug sales and illegal weapons possession. The judge deemed the arrests lawful and ordered the pair to face charges including possession of marijuana and cocaine with intent to distribute, as well as illegal possession of a firearm, cartridges, and magazines.

Both suspects will remain in pretrial detention for up to one month while the investigation continues. Under Mexican law, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
