Cancún man arrested for child pornography possession

Cancún, Mexico — Authorities in Cancún have arrested an individual accused of child pornography offenses. The suspect was found in possession of explicit files involving minors, according to official reports.

Investigation and Arrest

During a press conference, the head of the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) announced that the arrest was carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Human Trafficking and Exploitation of Children and Adolescents. The suspect, identified as Moisés David “N,” was detained under a court-issued arrest warrant for alleged involvement in human trafficking-related child pornography.

The investigation began after a complaint was filed in Cancún regarding the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. Law enforcement officials gathered digital and field evidence, including photos and videos stored in an online account linked to the suspect.

Following a judicial order, authorities executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence in the Guerrero neighborhood of Cancún’s Supermanzana 231. Electronic devices containing illicit material were seized. Moisés David “N” was subsequently presented before a judge, where his legal status will be determined within the constitutional timeframe.
