Felipe Carrillo Puerto — The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) reported the detention of a woman identified as Shadani Lorena “N,” considered a priority target of the State’s Criminal Atlas and allegedly related to a criminal group generating violence in the community of Chunhuhub.
“The detention was carried out without violence and in coordination with elements of the Interinstitutional Group,” the FGE specified when announcing the result of the operation deployed in the area.
According to official information, the investigated individual would be linked to various criminal incidents that occurred in Chunhuhub and surrounding communities, for which she was made available to the corresponding authority for the development of the investigations.
The security operation resulted in a momentary blockade of the highway known as the short route, at the height of the communities of Polyuc and Chunhuhub, a situation that was later controlled by the authorities.
The State Attorney General’s Office indicated that it will continue to inform about the progress of the investigations as the corresponding legal procedures develop.
