In a move that reaffirms her dedication to the children of Ciudad Mujeres, Municipal President Atenea Gómez Ricalde, has officially opened the new children's park, La Victoria, located in the Continental Zone.
Gómez Ricalde emphasized that her administration is known for its substantial projects that enhance the quality of life for local families. "We continue to provide social justice in the Continental Zone, an area that has been neglected for many years. Today, we are opening the fourth park in Ciudad Mujeres, which is one of 12 parks we have built across the municipality," she said.
She further stressed that when corruption is tackled with honesty and transparency, public resources can be stretched much further.
The Director General of Public Works, Ángel Hernández Azueta, provided details about the park's features. These include children's playsets, a storytelling area, a perimeter fence, restrooms, synthetic grass, lighting, Wifi for internet access, surveillance cameras, new furniture, and sound equipment.
The construction of high-quality facilities like La Victoria aligns with the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, a state-wide initiative led by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa.
During the park's opening ceremony, children were treated to a special show designed just for them.
