Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo — A mobile service unit from the Quintana Roo Mobility Institute (IMOVEQROO) will be stationed in Puerto Aventuras this week to process driver’s licenses and provide vehicle-related advice, officials announced.
The unit will operate at the Puerto Aventuras Civic Plaza on March 27 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The initiative aims to bring essential government services closer to residents, saving them the trip to the main offices in Playa del Carmen.
Services Available
The mobile unit will offer several services, including:
- Processing new driver’s licenses, with guidance on requirements and exams
- Renewing expired or soon-to-expire licenses
- Providing personalized advice on fines and documentation
- Offering information on different license types (car, motorcycle, and chauffeur)
Authorities recommend bringing basic documentation to speed up processing:
- Official identification
- CURP (Unique Population Registry Code)
- Proof of address
Broader Initiative
The service caravan is part of a state strategy to deliver government services directly to communities across Quintana Roo. These mobile units help reduce the workload at central offices and allow institute staff to interact directly with the public, promoting responsible and safe mobility practices.
