Mexico City — Mexico’s federal government, through the ministries of Welfare and Health, announced the official calendar for registering for the Universal Health Service credential, a process that will be staggered according to the first letter of each beneficiary’s paternal surname.
Authorities said the process will remain open until November 14, 2026, with sessions organized during the first, second, third, and fourth weeks of each month. The strategy aims to avoid crowding and streamline service at registration modules, allowing people to attend only on the dates corresponding to their surname.
Registration Schedule by Surname
During the first and third weeks of each month, people whose surnames begin with letters A through L will be served. Mondays will be for letters A and B; Tuesdays for letter C; Wednesdays for D, E, and F; Thursdays for letter G; and Fridays for letters H, I, J, K, and L.
The second and fourth weeks of each month will be for letters M through Z. Mondays will be for letter M; Tuesdays for N, Ñ, O, P, and Q; Wednesdays for letter R; Thursdays for S, T, and U; and Fridays for letters V, W, X, Y, and Z.
Authorities have also set up special sessions for those who miss their assigned date, held every Saturday.
