In the community of Tuzik, residents have demolished the home of the mother of two individuals accused of a recent double murder. The victims, two young men, were reportedly killed with bladed weapons at the intersection of Federal Highway 295, on the section between Felipe Carrillo Puerto and Valladolid.
The house, constructed from regional materials, was targeted by community members last Thursday. However, it wasn't until last night that images of the destroyed property began to circulate on social media, revealing the extent of the damage.
This act of destruction occurred amidst a surge of community anger following the murders. The situation escalated to the point where military personnel were deployed to the area to search for the accused individuals. It is believed that the suspects, along with their family, have fled the region.
Community members have suggested that the alleged murderers are part of a family notorious for causing trouble in this part of the municipality.
