Mara Lezama Travels to Florida to Promote Investments and Present Cancun Financial District

Mara Lezama, governor of Quintana Roo, traveling to Orlando, Florida, for LendingCon

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Gov. Mara Lezama Espinosa said Monday she has traveled to Orlando, Florida, to take part in LendingCon, one of the leading international conferences on investment, development and financing for the hotel industry.

In a post on social media, Lezama said the trip is aimed at presenting the Cancun Financial District project and promoting new investment opportunities for Quintana Roo before developers, investors and representatives of financial institutions.

“About to take off for Orlando, Florida, to participate in LendingCon, one of the main meetings for hotel investment, development and financing. We will present the Cancun Financial District project and promote new investment opportunities for Quintana Roo,” she wrote.

The state’s participation in the forum is part of the government’s strategy to strengthen economic promotion and attract national and international capital to support new infrastructure, urban development and tourism projects.

The Cancun Financial District is one of the initiatives the state administration has promoted as a hub to diversify the local economy, attract financial and specialized services companies, create jobs and increase the competitiveness of the Mexican Caribbean.

By attending LendingCon, Lezama aims to position Quintana Roo as an attractive investment destination, leveraging the state’s tourism leadership and its growth in infrastructure and economic development.
