Cancun Shooting: Man Killed at Home in Paseos Kabah

Cancun, Quintana Roo — A man was shot and killed inside his home in the Paseos Kabah neighborhood on Monday morning, marking the latest violent incident in the city.

The victim, whose identity has not been officially confirmed, was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a residence on Supermanzana 222, between Avenida Cecilio Chí and Josefa Ortíz de Domínguez.

Police officers responded to emergency calls reporting gunfire at the scene. Upon arrival, they found the man lying on the floor with bullet wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, and officers cordoned off the area to preserve evidence.

Investigators from the State Prosecutor’s Office and forensic experts later arrived to process the scene, collect evidence, and transport the body to the forensic medical service for an autopsy.

No arrests have been made, and authorities have not released the victim’s name. Officials said they are pursuing multiple lines of investigation to determine the motive and identify those responsible.

The killing adds to a series of violent incidents in Cancun in recent weeks. Authorities said they continue to conduct patrols and investigations.
