Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — The fourth edition of the Isleño Cocktail Contest 2025 concluded with significant participation from local mixologists, marking another highlight of the annual Foundation Festivities, which have become a major attraction during the summer vacation season.
A Celebration of Caribbean Flavors
Held at the Municipal Esplanade, the contest showcased the creativity of Isla Mujeres' mixologists, who impressed attendees with innovative beverages inspired by Caribbean flavors. The event drew large crowds of local families and tourists, reinforcing the island’s cultural identity while boosting the local economy through increased visitation.
Winners Announced
The competition awarded three top mixologists:
- Third place: Oswaldo Alcaraz, who received 3,500 pesos in cash.
- Second place: Diana Muñiz, awarded 5,000 pesos.
- First place: Julio Quiroz, who took home the grand prize of 10,000 pesos.
The contest further solidified Isla Mujeres' reputation as a destination where culture and gastronomy thrive.
