Isla Mujeres Hosts New Edition of Magia en Punta Sur Cultural Program
Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — The Isla Mujeres government, led by Mayor Atenea Gómez Ricalde, held a new edition of “Magia en Punta Sur,” a program aimed at promoting the municipality’s cultural heritage and strengthening its identity as a destination where traditions come alive.
Attendees enjoyed a performance by the group Raíces Nuevas, which presented a colorful folkloric showcase from the state of Sinaloa, filling one of the island’s most iconic locations with music, dance, and tradition.
The event was organized by the Directorate of Culture in coordination with the Directorate of Magical Towns, with the goal of enhancing the destination’s cultural offerings and providing enriching experiences for local families and visitors alike.
