Playa del Carmen, Mexico — Blumhouse Productions, the studio behind hits such as "M3gan," "Paranormal Activity," and "Insidious," has produced its first original film shot entirely in Spanish. Titled "No Me Sigas," the horror movie was filmed in secret in Mexico City.

Playa del Carmen was selected as the city to host the presentation for this film, which is scheduled for release on October 30. Actors involved in the project assured that it is an "immersive" experience that blurs the line between fiction and reality.

During a press conference, actor Yankel Stevan expressed his affection for the character he portrayed. "I even took the mask I used in the movie home with me," he stated.

Actress Karla Coronado confessed details about her character, who uses a protective quartz. After filming concluded, she asked the directors if she could keep it. "I cleansed it before bringing it into my house," she said. "There are two very important words in the world of acting: action and cut."

She added, "What could happen is that this film might be a bit horrible, since if people do these things, they could reach an extreme where they decide to avoid everything that happens to my character," she emphasized.

For her part, actress Julia Maqueo stated, "For me, the character is something different, as my appearance underwent a drastic change; I, Julia, would never do that in my life, I would never have plucked my eyebrows or cut my hair."

"What you see on social media are perfect lives. What you see on social media only 20 percent corresponds to what a person truly lives. I recommend not being swayed by what you see on social media and to always be genuine," she noted.
