Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — More than 30,000 people packed the Playa del Carmen Fairgrounds on Sunday night for a free concert by Grupo Mojado, turning the third night of the Feria del Carmen into a celebration of romance, nostalgia, and popular music.

The performance was part of the free entertainment lineup organized by the municipal government of Mayor Estefanía Mercado, aimed at strengthening traditions, promoting family togetherness, and bringing quality shows to residents and visitors.

Starting early in the evening, hundreds of local families and tourists from across Mexico and abroad arrived at the fairgrounds to enjoy games, local food, and leisure. The crowd sang along to hits such as Piensa en Mí, Tonta, Trapeaste Conmigo, Motivos, Te Felicito, Llorar Quedito, El Amor Más Fiel, and Sí Yo Fuera Él, turning the venue into a massive chorus.

The lights of thousands of cell phones illuminated the night as couples, young people, and families enjoyed the show in an orderly and convivial atmosphere. Other acts included Grupo SH Norteño Banda, Johnny Hoyos El Favorito, and Los Elegantes del Carmen.

The Feria del Carmen 2026 continues with religious, cultural, gastronomic, and recreational activities, plus performances by Cachirula and Loojan on July 14 and Aleks Syntek on July 15.
