Cancún, Quintana Roo — Mexican hospitality powerhouse Grupo Anderson’s has secured five nominations in the 2026 edition of Los 100 Imperdibles de México, a nationally recognized guide that highlights the country’s most outstanding culinary, tourism, and lifestyle experiences.
The nominations spotlight four of the group’s flagship brands across five high-profile locations in Cancún and Los Cabos: Fred’s Cancún, Harry’s Cancún, Harry’s Cabo, Ilios Cabo, and Bodega Argentina Cancún.
Founded in the 1960s and headquartered in Cancún, Grupo Anderson’s is one of Mexico’s largest and most influential restaurant operators, with more than 40 establishments across destinations including Quintana Roo, Baja California Sur, Mexico City, and international markets. The group is widely known for developing upscale dining concepts that blend striking architectural design, curated wine programs, premium imported ingredients, and theatrical presentation.
Over the past two decades, the company has played a significant role in shaping Cancún’s evolution from a resort-only destination into a recognized fine-dining hub. Its brands frequently appear on regional “best of” lists and have earned distinctions from major hospitality platforms.
Los 100 Imperdibles de México is more than a ranking. Organized annually with participation from industry specialists and public voting, the platform recognizes excellence across gastronomy, hotels, cultural attractions, and experiential tourism. It serves as a promotional vehicle positioning Mexico’s top offerings before international travelers, investors, and hospitality professionals.
The 2026 awards ceremony will be held on March 26 in Tequila, Jalisco, at the historic Hacienda El Centenario, marking the event’s tenth anniversary. Tourism leaders, media representatives, and hospitality industry figures from across the country are expected to attend.
For Cancún and Los Cabos, the nominations reinforce both destinations’ continued rise within Mexico’s high-end gastronomic tourism sector — a segment that increasingly draws travelers seeking curated culinary experiences alongside traditional beach vacations.
Fred’s Cancún is recognized for elevating seafood dining with refined presentation and sourcing. Harry’s, in both Cancún and Cabo, remains a benchmark for premium steakhouse experiences, featuring USDA Prime, Kobe, and Australian Wagyu selections. Ilios Cabo brings Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with immersive entertainment elements, while Bodega Argentina Cancún highlights traditional Argentine grilling with contemporary polish.
Winners will be announced during the March ceremony.
