Free Pet Vaccinations Promoted in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Mexico — Fernando Muñoz Calero, coordinator of the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) in Playa del Carmen, has launched a free vaccination and medical care campaign for pets, administering more than 120 free anti-rabies vaccines. The initiative, which saw significant public participation, also included deworming and basic veterinary consultations.

A Commitment to Animal Welfare

Muñoz Calero highlighted that, following the example of Municipal President Estefanía Mercado, he is contributing to the strengthening of animal welfare. "In the Green family, we love animals and are committed to their care, their well-being, and their protection," stated Fernando Muñoz Calero. "We will continue visiting the different neighborhoods of Playa del Carmen to offer services that support Playense families and care for our pets. As the family that we are, we will continue working in the field, close to the people and the animals we love so much."

The campaign event was held at the PVEM's Casa de Gestión in Playa del Carmen. In addition to the rabies vaccinations and internal deworming, basic veterinary advice and guidance on responsible pet ownership were offered.

The municipal councilman emphasized that this action is part of the Green Party's commitment to strengthening public health and promoting family well-being through free care programs and direct actions in the community. He acknowledged the work of the municipal administration led by Estefanía Mercado, stating that animal welfare also represents social support and demonstrates the commitment of a government that is close and sensitive to its citizens.

Given the significant public response, Muñoz Calero announced that this program will be expanded to different neighborhoods and subdivisions of the municipality, becoming a permanent campaign for animal health accessible to all. He invited the public to stay informed about upcoming campaigns through the official social media channels of the Green Party Playa del Carmen, reiterating that he will continue working hand-in-hand with the community on actions that promote respect, responsibility, and environmental awareness.
