A tragic accident took place at the entrance of Chetumal city, involving a dump truck and a motorcycle. The incident occurred when a dump truck attempted to access the dirt road leading to the construction site of the Mayan Train.
A woman, who was speeding on her motorcycle, was unable to stop in time and collided with the heavy vehicle. The impact was severe, causing her to hit the hard iron exterior of the dump truck at a high speed. This resulted in multiple fractures that ultimately led to her death.
Paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross arrived swiftly at the scene in an effort to provide medical assistance. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, they were unable to save the woman.
The area was subsequently cordoned off to allow officials from the State Prosecutor's Office of Quintana Roo to conduct necessary procedures following the fatal accident.
