A Celebration Dedicated to Oaxaca
This year's edition of the festival will be dedicated to Oaxaca, a region renowned for its cultural heritage and colorful celebrations honoring the deceased. The initiative aims to promote the country's cultural wealth by involving the local community, visitors, and tourists. Attendees will be able to participate in activities such as exhibitions, altars, musical events, and folkloric presentations.
The initiative also includes the participation of cultural associations, artistic groups, educational institutions, and the hotel sector, thereby enriching the experience for all attendees. The festival not only celebrates traditions but also offers an opportunity for learning, community interaction, and strengthening a sense of belonging.
Juanita Alonso Marrufo, the General Director, emphasized the importance of keeping these practices alive, as they strengthen cultural identity and promote tourism in the region.
