Puerto Morelos, Mexico — The iconic Ventana al Mar esplanade will host the fourth edition of the Caribbean Grill Festival, an event that has established itself as the most important of its kind in the region for gastronomy and culture. The highly anticipated festival will take place on October 25 and 26, celebrating grilling and family togetherness on the beautiful beaches of Puerto Morelos.

Since its first edition in 2023, the festival has brought together the best grill chefs, restaurants, producers, and artisans from the Mexican Caribbean. With each passing year, attendance has increased by more than 50%, attracting both locals and national and international visitors.

For this edition, more than 30 stands are expected, where attendees can enjoy a wide variety of grilled meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables, as well as beverages, desserts, and tastings. The event will also offer master classes and diverse activities for all members of the family.

Chef Luis David Sánchez Orea, the festival's director, shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming edition: "This year we will even have a talented chocolatier from Bacalar, Jacob Chocolatería, joining the grill with a smoked chocolate among other surprises. We expect more than 1500 visitors per day and will feature chefs from Querétaro, the Caribbean, and Spain."

Furthermore, for the first time, the festival will be held in the Casco Antiguo and the Ventana al Mar. Music will be another key component of the event. A prior call will allow the best four local bands to be selected to perform during the festival, thereby involving the community in this celebration.

For the 2025 festival, a consumption of more than 800 kilograms of protein is expected, employing different types of grills and smokers. Among the chefs who will participate is the renowned Chef Andrés Salas of Los Chamacos (Castellón, Spain), awarded for preparing the "Best taco in Spain."

In addition to promoting gastronomy, the Caribbean Grill Festival reaffirms its social commitment by allocating a portion of its income to DIF Quintana Roo, thereby strengthening assistance programs for families in the state.

With the support of the City Council of Puerto Morelos and media coverage from a major national television network, the festival promises to be a high-impact event that celebrates the flavor and culture of the Mexican Caribbean.
